Todd Howard says the words ‘Fallout 5’

Bethesda, which recently delayed Starfield into next year and hasn’t shown anything substantial about The Elder Scrolls 6 since announcing it in 2018, is already thinking about what comes after. In an interview with IGN, Bethesda’s Todd Howard said Bethesda Game Studios is planning on making Fallout 5... eventually. “Yes, Elder Scrolls 6 is in pre-production and, you know, we’re going to be doing Fallout 5 after that, so our slate’s pretty full going forward for a while,” Howard said. There’s no indication about when…

Part 2 is live The Fallout 76 Dread Island storyline has been extended, as part 2 of the new radio play drama is out: you can listen to it now! The meta narrative follows the brother and sister team of Anna and Emilio, alongside of their very Lost in Space-esque robot companion H-4RT, as they explore and survive Dread Island.  Bethesda is saying that the “final two chapters” will arrive next week. In a really cool turn, you can listen to these radio plays in-game via your Pip-Boy (on the Pirate Radio station). In…

Fallout 76’s new season is a take on King Kong, adds quicker rank-ups

“Fallout 1st Members will be able to rank up even more quickly and claim bonus rewards, as a result of new enhancements we are making to the Scoreboard” Fallout 76‘s new season is coming on June 14 with the Test Your Metal update, and it’ll add a few wrinkles into the mix too. Falling in with previous seasons, Season 9 will be centered around the theme of “Dread Island,” which is a clear nod to Skull Island and the King Kong franchise. To be clear this isn’t a place you can go directly in the game: it’s an elaborate…

Fallout 76’s next big update, Test Your Metal, dated for June 14

That’s when Season 9 starts too We finally have a date in mind for the Fallout 76 Test Your Metal update: Bethesda has confirmed a June 14 launch in a new blog post. As a recap, Test Your Metal will task players with completing activities to earn the right to go on expeditions — which are new randomized missions that can involve the classic “Pitt” location from the Fallout series. Season 9 will also be arriving on the same day, and it has a name now: Heart of Steel: A Dread Island Tale. It’ll feature 100 ranks as…

Fallout 3’s Point Lookout DLC is now a playable mod for Fallout 4

Everything old is new again Fans of the Fallout series are killing it right now, what with in-game Shakespeare performances and new DLC adventures that are so big they’re practically their own games. Truly the epitome of “if you want something done right, you’ve got to do it yourself,” when Bethesda leaves us in cold radio silence, the fans are here to create the content we wish to see in the world, especially as the studio shifts their focus away from the Fallout series for now. The newest project to come from the…

‘Fallout 4’ mod recreates ‘Fallout 3”s Point Lookout DLC

A team of modders has faithfully recreated Fallout 3‘s Point Lookout DLC in Fallout 4, and it looks very impressive. Point Lookout was the penultimate DLC pack for Fallout 3, which was released all the way back in 2009 by Bethesda Softworks. Set in a swampland downriver from the Capital Wasteland, Point Lookout broke away from the urban decay of Washington DC for a more exotic (albeit still irradiated) biome. Many of the exterior buildings in Point Lookout were spared from the nuclear bombs, although plenty of new…

Ron Perlman’s agent said no to a ‘Fallout’ mod as it “couldn’t “afford him”

The team behind Fallout 4’s upcoming fan-developed Fallout: London mod attempted to get both Ron Perlman and Liam Neeson involved in the project, but they turned it down. Fallout: London’s lead producer Dean Carter told NME that both actors’ agents were contacted about potentially getting involved, but that both opportunities fell through. Ron Perlman has lent his voice to every game in the series, but is best known for voicing the opening narration to each title, apart from Fallout 4 and Fallout 76. When the mod team…

Image via Amazon Prime Video Satirical superhero show The Boys is getting some love from none other than Batman v Superman director Zack Snyder. It all started when a parody trailer for the fake film Dawn of the Seven was released on the Twitter account for Vought International, the fictitious pharmaceutical organization responsible for creating superheroes in the world of the Amazon Prime Video show.
