Wendy Williams’ guardian has filed a lawsuit against A&E Networks, potentially seeking to block the premiere of the new Lifetime documentary Where Is Wendy Williams? The two-part film is set to air this weekend, Feb 24 and 25, and will explore the past few years of the media personality’s life as her health declined and she was ultimately placed under court-ordered guardianship in 2022. Though the lawsuit is sealed, it is seeking some kind of injunctive relief, suggesting the aim is to delay or derail the doc’s…

Marvel Just Killed A Guardian Of The Galaxy

"Guardians of the Galaxy Annual" #1 turns out to be a perfect ending for Drax. Born Arthur Douglas, he became Drax the Destroyer after being taken from Earth by Thanos' grandfather and father, Kronos and Mentor, who transformed him into a weapon literally designed to defeat the Mad Titan. Now, the hero has shed his past title and become something very different. With Empress Victoria trying to destroy Grootfall, still unaware of the truth regarding its process of rebirth, Drax and Rocket Raccoon take…

‘Utterly devastating’: Guardian writers on their favourite breakup songs | Music

Whitney Houston – It’s Not Right But It’s OkayI never went to J-school, but I learned everything anyone needs to know about how to be an investigative reporter from Detective Whitney Houston. In just four short minutes, this song describes our hero’s Pulitzer-level investigation into a deadbeat lover: she looks through his phone, digs through the trash, and literally finds the receipts to prove once and for all that he’s a filthy, lying cheater. That’s a bummer, of course, but in the grand tradition of divas such as…

Destiny 2 will finally let you re-customize your Guardian

Destiny 2: The Final Shape simply whelmed players on the day of its showcasing, only to be followed by a bout of nasty layoffs and a release date pushback. Ahead of the DLC’s postponed release, however, Bungie managed to eke out some victories, such as the Guardian re-customization feature. Indeed, players will finally get the option to rebuild their Guardians in Destiny 2 sometime before the release of The Final Shape, and what’s particularly impressive is that it won’t cost a penny. Broadly infamous for its…

Don’t kick the seats and switch off your smartwatch: Guardian critics on how to be a better audience member | Culture

CinemaDon’t talk during the opening creditsNot talking during the film should be a given. It is OK to talk (quietly) during the ads and it is similarly OK to talk (even more quietly) during the trailers. But the microsecond the film starts then you shut up. The credits are not like two football teams warming up before kickoff. The credits are part of the film.Do not kick the seat in front of you, or even press your knees against it It’s amazing how many people don’t understand what not kicking the seat in front of you…
