I Finally Watched Ghostbusters: Afterlife And There’s One Thing In Particular That Really Impressed Me

I have this problem that sometimes prevents me from seeing a movie for years. It’s called procrastination. Sometimes if I don’t go see a movie within a few months of its release, I continuously delay watching it. Ghostbusters: Afterlife falls into that category. Curiosity and the Ghostbusters: Afterlife cast made me want to see it during its initial run, I just never got around to it. But, with Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire hitting theaters soon, I finally decided to watch the first movie in this revival series. I didn’t…

Why gaming on the M3 MacBook Air has left me impressed

Luke Larsen / Digital Trends Upon getting the new MacBook Air M3 in my possession, I had one major question: Can you play games on it? That might sound like a silly first thought for a laptop of this type. After all, it’s not marketed as a gaming laptop — it’s an incredibly thin, fanless laptop. Not exactly something even meant for any high-performance tasks. But with the M3, that calculus changes. When it was first announced in the iMac and MacBook Pro, Apple did mention that even the base M3 could do some basic…

Tecno stuffed a gaming PC inside a controller and I’m impressed

If you ask me my favourite handheld portable gaming machine I would say PS Vita in a heartbeat. The console was underpowered for sure, but it launched with an OLED display, had a very good library of games and was super ergonomic to use. While we have devices like the Steam Deck, ROG Ally (review), Legion Go and more available today, my go-to portable console is the Nintendo Switch for its exclusive library and lighter-weight design when compared to its peers. Sure, it isn’t as powerful as the Windows-powered handhelds…

Watch these birds in Alberta perform a synchronized dance routine to attract a mate

On the vast grasslands of Alberta, a group of sharp-tailed grouse gather for the most important event of the year: a song and dance competition. While most male birds compete against each other to win a mate, the grouse take a different approach. They perform a synchronized dance routine as a team, and the more males, the more impressive their performance. These sharp-tailed grouse put on a remarkable show. With their heads down and wings outstretched, they stomp and rattle their tail feathers. Flashes of yellow from the…

I’ve had the Galaxy S24 Ultra for 3 days, and I’m already impressed

Andy Boxall / Digital Trends “It’s the same,” said my friend when I showed him the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra together, telling you all you need to know about the design changes between the latest Ultra phone and its predecessor. But is that the full story? I’ve used the S24 Ultra over the weekend and have a few thoughts to share ahead of my full review, which is coming soon, and they may help with any preorder decisions you may be making this week. One big design change Galaxy S23…

George Carlin AI comedy special is ‘ghoulish’ and ‘creepy,’ his daughter says

As It Happens6:44AI used to create comedy special of dead comedian George CarlinA new comedy special starts with the quote, "I'm sorry it took me so long to come out with new material, but I do have a pretty good excuse. I was dead."The voice sounds like comedian George Carlin, but that would be impossible, as Carlin died in 2008.
