Zuckerberg Swiped Elon’s Big Swiping Idea

Mark Zuckerberg began testing a horizontal swiping feature on Wednesday for his pet project, Threads, the app whose main purpose seems to be trolling Elon Musk. The feature appears to be something Musk tweeted about two weeks ago, noting that he’s wanted to add it to X for the last year. Threads Needs These Five Missing Features to Be a Twitter Killer“Swipe right to reply, left to favorite, tap & hold for all other actions. If you get too many people congregating in one area, the cell phone towers can’t handle the influx. With the number of connected devices growing exponentially and the coming wave of AI poised to make the problem even worse, there are major wireless traffic jams on the horizon. Cybertruck Drivers Humiliating Themselves Are the Biggest Threat to Tesla’s Future

The Cybertruck was such a misfire for Tesla that Elon Musk, close to tears, told investors “we dug our own grave” in the effort to launch the vehicle. But after years of delays, failed promises, and on-stage gaffs, the truck finally made it onto the streets and into the hands of drivers. For better or worse, the Cybertruck is one of Tesla’s biggest bets, and it’s the product that could make or break the company’s reputation. Unfortunately for Musk, a lot of the truck’s earliest adopters are people with really bad…

Want to Steal a Tesla? Try Using a Flipper Zero

Security researchers report they uncovered a design flaw that let them hijack a Tesla using a Flipper Zero, a controversial $169 hacking tool. Partners Tommy Mysk and Talal Haj Bakry of Mysk Inc. said the attack is as simple as swiping a Tesla owner’s login information, opening the Tesla app, and driving away. Elon Almost Did a Good Thing

Last week, it almost seemed like Elon Musk was going to do a good thing. The eccentric, loud-mouthed billionaire announced he would be suing OpenAI, the influential tech company he co-founded back in 2015. The reason? Musk said that OpenAI had betrayed its original mandate of “helping humanity.” The company, which notably began as an open-source research organization, had morphed into a profit-sucking corporate Goliath with little interest in sharing its code. As such, Musk said in his lawsuit that he wanted a court to…

Elon Musk Wanted OpenAI to Merge With Tesla

OpenAI’s founders published a scathing response to Elon Musk’s lawsuit Tuesday night, claiming that Musk made a power grab to achieve “absolute control” of the AI startup in 2017. The emails reveal Musk was originally on board with making the startup less open-sourced and profitable, even though he is now suing OpenAI for those reasons. The key difference is that Musk is no longer in charge.Did Elon Musk Regret Buying Twitter? | Walter Isaacson Interview“In late 2017, we and Elon decided the next step for the mission was…
