Sunday with Sean Paul: ‘I hitch a ride or pay a canoe guy to take me to Lime Cay’ | Sunday with…

Sunday breakfast? Normally I sleep in, so I’m not a big breakfast dude. I might have some dim sum mid-morning as a family thing, or maybe some fruit.Next? We’ll laze around until around noon, then my wife takes the kids to visit her parents, so the rest of the Sunday is just me. It’s a good deal. I’ll chill out, listen back to some music, take time to connect with my mum.Sunday music? I built a recording studio in the basement during the pandemic. How many hours a day am I down here? A lot.Sunday gardening? Out back we do…

Tata Harrier painted in Lime Rock Grey shade looks neat

Tata Harrier is one of the most popular SUV in its segment. The SUV competes with cars like Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta and even the lower variants of XUV700 in the segment. It was launched in the market in 2019 and it quickly became popular among buyers for its looks, features and price. It is still one of those SUVs in the segment that has a very unique design to it. There are several aftermarket modification and customisation options available for the Harrier and we have featured some of them on our website. Here we…

Lime adds e-moto to Long Beach rental fleet for summer-long trial

Shared micromobility outfit Lime has launched a pilot in Long Beach, California, to test a new fleet member. The Citra electric two-wheeler offers seated throttle-only motoring at up to 20 mph, and comes packing the company's latest battery tech."We expect riders to quickly fall in love with Citra as the vehicle combines the comfort and practicality of a bike, with the effortlessness of an e-scooter," said Lime president, Joe Kraus in a blog post. "Citra is the perfect way to save money on gas, avoid time wasted in…

Lime launches pilot of its new electric motorbike in Long Beach

Mobility startup Lime is looking to add electric motorbikes to its existing fleet of e-bikes and e-scooters. The company today launched a pilot program in Long Beach, California for its custom motorbike, which it is calling the Citra. Lime spokesperson Russell Murphy told The Verge that the company plans to release several hundred Citra bikes in the California city this summer, potentially topping up to 500 motorbikes if ridership is strong enough. According to Lime’s description of the Citra, it’s built for longer…

Lime is testing out a new shared electric motorbike in California

You’ve got to hand it to Lime — they really lean into the whole fruit thing. Case in point: the shared scooter company is trialing a new electric motorbike in Long Beach, California, called, wait for it, the Citra. It’s the latest lightweight electric vehicle to join the company’s fleet, which has been diversifying beyond the electric kick scooters that have defined Lime for the last five years. The Citra motorbike, which has a large padded seat and can reach a top speed of 20mph, is designed and built in-house by…

Lime quietly killed off its electric moped sharing in NYC. Could this be why?

You’d be forgiven for not noticing, but shared micromobility company Lime’s electric mopeds have disappeared from the streets of NYC less than a year after their debut. The electric mopeds (or “seated electric scooters” as my more pedantic commenters will soon inform me) were added to Lime’s micromobility suite to complement its standing electric scooters and electric bicycles. They were first rolled out in Washington, DC, before joining Lime’s NYC fleet, and were used as a faster alternative to the company’s…
