Motorola teases the Moto X50 Ultra, its first AI phone

We are at the dawn of the AI phone era, and the first rays of sunlight are peeping through the window. Samsung made a big splash with Galaxy AI, but another notable tech brand wants to challenge it. Motorola just posted a teaser for the Moto X50 Ultra, its first AI phone. We’ve been following rumors about a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered phone from Motorola, so this might be it. At this point, we may as well admit that the AI phone is the phone of the future. Samsung unveiled Galaxy AI; however, other companies are also…

Motorola shares F1-themed Moto X50 Ultra teaser video that is drenched in AI

2024 will be the year of AI, even more so than last year was. Moto just released the first teaser video for the Moto X50 Ultra and despite featuring a Formula 1 car, it’s AI that is the highlight of the video. The video itself offers brief glimpses of the phone itself, showing a leatherette back and a camera tucked into the top left corner. The Weibo post that shared the video is vague, but it mentions the F1 China Grand Prix (Motorola owner Lenovo is an official F1 sponsor). The race in China is scheduled for April…

Motorola wrist smartphone concept: Hands-on at MWC 2024

I didn’t have high expectations when I went to check out Motorola’s wrist-worn bendable smartphone at MWC 2024. I knew it was a concept device, a smartphone that won’t see a commercial launch for years, if ever. It didn’t help that I had visited Samsung Display’s booth earlier, where their wrist-worn smartphone concept didn’t look that great after being extensively used during the first few days of MWC.Once I saw it though, I was pleasantly surprised by how good it looked and how well it worked during the brief…

I used Motorola’s futuristic folding phone, and it’s truly crazy

Joe Maring / Digital Trends I just used Motorola’s newest folding phones, and it may be one of the most impressive (and confusing) I’ve ever laid my hands on. Last October, Motorola teased its “adaptive display concept” device, releasing photos of a truly wild phone that bends into a variety of positions, including the ability to wrap around your wrist to transform into a giant smartwatch. Seeing the images online, I was blown away — but also a little skeptical. It looked unlike any other folding phone I’ve ever…

Motorola Adaptive Display Concept hands-on at MWC 2024

Motorola unveiled its adaptive display concept back in October of 2023 at Lenovo's Tech World. But we didn't get a chance to play around with it until now. So what is the Motorola adaptive display concept? Simply put, it's a folding device that attaches to your wrist via a strap accessory. Impressively, when unfolded, the concept looks and feels just like a regular smartphone - one with a 6.9-inch display diagonal. The standalone strap uses magnets to attach the concept to your wrist. Here's the fun part.…
