These Nerf Darts Can Fire Themselves

Even when you’re going into battle with garishly colored plastic blasters loaded with painless foam darts, the element of surprise can still be advantageous. Sneaking up on your enemy with a Nerf gun in hand isn’t exactly stealthy, but doing the same with a handful of cleverly engineered self-firing darts? No one will realize your true intentions. The last time we checked in with Joel Hartlaub of the YouTube channel Joel Creates, they had managed to upgrade a cardboard tube—every child’s imagination-powered stand-in for a

But the original Megatron toy, which debuted in the US in 1984 as

New Overwatch 2 update brings a big nerf for Roadhog – Destructoid

No more one-shot kills for Hog mains Overwatch 2 is a constant balancing act of buffing and nerfing heroes as the meta changes, and the character on the chopping block this time around is none other than everyone’s favorite hook-wielding heavyweight, Roadhog. He was known for his hook-shoot-melee combo that could kill players in one shot, which I knew all too well as a Mercy main. The Overwatch 2 devs said that “these changes aim to reduce the frustration of dying in one shot immediately after being hooked and…

3 Seconds of Pure Joy, Then Not

Photo: io9/Germain LussierNerf’s Pulse Rifle is definitely cool. That the display works, and that it has awesome sounds and two types of ammo, totally made me feel like a Colonial Marine, even for a short amount of time. But at almost $100, this isn’t really a toy you’re going to run around and play with. It’s a display piece. A once in a while thing. And for that, I think it’s less successful. It should come with some kind of easy display stand. And C batteries? That’s very, very annoying. Why not AA or AAA? Something

A Scruffy Looking Nerf Herder Declares No Sequel Is Better Than the Original, and ‘Star Wars’ Fans Are Striking Back

A very unpopular opinion is sparking a firestorm online, as sequel fans react to blasphemy against some of cinema’s greatest releases. Twitter user @catturd2 prompted passionate discourse when they blithely proclaimed that they’ve “never seen a sequel better than the original movie.” This sequel sacrilege quickly spurred online debate, as users flooded Twitter with the many wonderful follow-ups the cinematic world has experienced over the years. The statement rubbed Star Wars fans, in particular, the wrong way, thus…
