Twitter to kill ‘legacy’ blue checks on April 1, pay Rs 9,400 for a year to retain
Twitter CEO Elon Musk has confirmed that the microblogging platform will remove all legacy Blue verified check marks for both individual users and organisations from April 1. "On April 1, we will begin winding down our legacy verified program and removing legacy verified check marks. To keep your blue checkmark on Twitter, individuals can sign up for Twitter Blue," said the company. This means Twitter users who already had a blue check mark will have to pay for Twitter Blue to retain it.
