Much-loved rhythm action game headed to PS5 As part of its 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) offerings, Sony has announced that rhythm action title Beat Saber and stylish, road-rippin’ racer Gran Turismo 7 are both headed to the PSVR2 platform. The former game will arrive as a free upgrade at the launch of the headset on February 22, while no release date for Beat Saber was provided. ‘Beat Saber’ Rock Mixtape adds tracks from Nirvana, Foo Fighters and more

Beat Saber has released the Rock Mixtape, downloadable content (DLC) that adds eight tracks from the likes of Nirvana, KISS, and The White Stripes. The “stacked” Rock Mixtape is available from today (December 13) for Meta Quest, Rift, PSVR and SteamVR platforms and costs £7.97 / $10.99. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake is changing studios. A game developer has made an Elden Ring-inspired Beat Saber clone inside of Dreams. An artist working for Media Molecule, Martin Nebelong, shared his incredible creation on Twitter today (August 16) with a two-minute video showcasing the Elden Ring rhythm game. Meta (formerly Facebook) has announced that it will be increasing the price of its Meta Quest 2 VR headsets, whilst offering Beat Saber for free for a limited time. The company announced yesterday (July 26) that starting in August of this year, the Meta Quest 2 will increase from $399.99 / £299.99 to $499.99 / £399.99. Saber Interactive files defamation claim against Oovee amidst ‘Spintires’ legal battle

Saber Interactive has filed a defamation claim against Oovee Game Studios over allegations made by the latter in a recent press release. The legal battles between Saber Interactive and Oovee have been ongoing since 2018. Spintires, an all-terrain delivery simulator, was developed by Pavel Zagrebelnyy, an employee of Saber Interactive.
