The controversial ‘Rise of Skywalker’ ending gains a suspicious amount of support 3 years down the line

It’s safe to say Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (which marks its third birthday today) is the franchise’s most hated big-screen release. The prequel trilogy is now solidly into its critical rehabilitation phase as those that enjoyed it as kids find many reasons to love it as adults, The Clone Wars animated movie is at least appreciated for introducing us to Ahsoka Tano, and the other Disney-era films may be divisive but absolutely have their merits. But there’s little love for The Rise of…

The The Rise of Skywalker’

Time flies when you’re trying to forget about the worst conclusion to any of the three Star Wars film trilogies, and arguably one of the worst Star Wars movies ever made, but here we are.  It’s been three years since Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker released and disappointed pretty much everyone, from the casual Jedi enthusiast, to the comic and animated series diehards who soak up every drop of story they can from the galaxy far, far away.  We can go around playing the blame game all we like in terms of why…

The Skywalker Saga kicks off December for Game Pass

Plus High On Life and more The December Xbox Game Pass lineup this year is closing out with some pretty notable additions. Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the headliner, but several other big December games are on the way too. With Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the Lego series got a bit of a tune-up. It’s apparently a bit more action-oriented, and yes, even allows for some sick air juggling. If you’re looking for something a little more adult-oriented, the raucous High On Life arrives on Game Pass this…

has its first wave of additions for December and the headliner is a major game that — Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. You'll be able to play through all nine core films in the Star Wars franchise and you can choose which trilogy to begin with. It's maybe the best Star Wars game I've played. It's coming to Game Pass on December 6th and you can play it on Xbox, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming. A few…

New ‘Andor’ Featurette Teases Prison Break Drama, and Fans Finally Warm to Luke Skywalker in ‘The Last Jedi’

Image via Lucasfilm/Star Wars: The Last Jedi Andor‘s tenth episode will drop tomorrow and looks set to be a nail-biting prison break drama. At this point, we’re supremely confident that Tony Gilroy is going to deliver the goods, and it’s no longer a question of whether Andor will be good, it’s how good it’ll be. The upcoming episode should also give us some clear pointers as to how the final two episodes of season one are going to go down. With the ISB closing in, we’re willing to bet that Cassian won’t have…

‘Star Wars’ Fans Know Exactly Who the Real Hero of the Skywalker Saga Is

Image via Lucasfilm The nine-film Star Wars “Skywalker Saga” spans 67 years in canon, four systems of galactic governance, three separate wars, and innumerable heroes and villains. But though the core of this story is the Skywalker family – Shmi, Anakin, Padme, Luke, Leia, Han, and Ben – the real heart of the saga is a beeping and whistling animated trashcan that rolled into the world’s heart in 1977 and remains beloved to this day. Yup, we’re talking R2-D2. The heroic astromech droid made his chronological…
