The CSK opening batsman, Ruturaj Gaikwad, hit such a massive six that it dented the Tata Tiago EV, which was kept at Tata’s sponsored bay.

Additionally, the company announced at the beginning of the season that each time the ball hits the Tiago.ev car on display, Tata Motors will donate Rs 5,00,000 towards enhancing the biodiversity of Coffee Plantations in Karnataka by planting saplings.

As for the details of the match itself, Gaikwad and Conway, the two opening batsmen, set up a 110-run opening stand in the game played between the two teams. The Tiago EV is currently the cheapest electric vehicle in India. Bakc in February of this year Tata Motors ended the intorductory pricing of the car and increased the prices across all varaints by Rs 20,000. The car now starts at Rs 8.69 lakh and go up to Rs 11.99 lakh for the top-end variant.

Tata Tiago EV comes powered by the Ziptron technology that also powers the likes of the Tata Tiago EV and Nexon EV. There are multiple battery packs on offer that delivers different ranges. There is a 24 kWh battery pack that delivers an MIDC-certified range of 315 km. It should translate into a real-world range of 260 km. There is a smaller 19.2 kWh battery pack available too. It gets an MIDC-certified range of 250 km, which should translate to roughly 200 km of range.

The car also gets two drive modes – City and Sport. There are four different regeneration levels that can increase the range. The Tata Tiago EV will offer telematics with Z-Connect. There are more than 65 features including remote AC on/off, remote geo-fencing, real-time charging status, smartwatch connectivity and more.
