Taylor Swift is among the thousands of people who have posted GoFundMe donations for the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, the radio DJ and mother of two who was killed in the Kansas City Chiefs victory parade mass shooting on Wednesday.

The attack amid the Valentine’s Day celebration in Kansas City, Mo., for the Super Bowl LVIII champions left 22 people injured, ranging between 8 and 47 years old.

The GoFundMe page, Elizabeth Lopez-Galvan Memorial, said Lopez-Galvan “was celebrating the Chiefs Super Bowl Victory parade when senselessly killed. She is survived by two children and her husband of 22 years. She was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to so many. We ask that you continue to keep her family in your prayers as we grieve the loss of her life.”

The fund will help provide “vital financial support to her family as they process this unthinkable tragedy. Any amount is appreciated.”

Among the donations — which, at the time this story posted were nearing $200,000 — were two separation donations from megastar Swift, who has made headlines as she’s supported her Kansas City Chiefs tight end boyfriend Travis Kelce this season including in Sunday’s Super Bowl.

Swift made two donations, each for $50,000, and wrote: “Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift.”

The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the donations.

Lopez-Galvan died during surgery after suffering a gunshot wound to her abdomen, The Kansas City Star reported. A statement from her employer, KKFI 90.1 FM, said: “It is with sincere sadness and an extremely heavy and broken heart that we let our community know that KKFI DJ Lisa Lopez, host of Taste of Tejano lost her life today in the shooting at the KC Chiefs’ rally. Our hearts and prayers are with her family. We encourage anyone who feels they saw something to reach out to law enforcement at 816 234 5111. This senseless act has taken a beautiful person from her family and this KC Community.”

Kelce was among the Chiefs players in attendance at the parade. All players, coaches and staff were safe and accounted for after the shooting. Following the attack, Kelce said on social media that he was “heartbroken” by what happened. “KC, you mean the world to me,” he posted on X.

The tight end, however, has since received backlash after photos circulated of Kelce, alongside several teammates including Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany, celebrating at a bar following the parade attack. Swift was not in attendance for the parade, as she was in Australia for her Eras Tour.

Swift recently announced a new album, The Tortured Poets Department, during the 2024 Grammys. On Friday she revealed a bonus track for the highly anticipated album, “The Bolter.” The full album comes out April 19.
