The biggest Nintendo Switch exclusive of 2023 (and arguably the biggest video game of the year) is officially here. After years of waiting, Nintendo Switch owners can finally get their hands on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The sequel to Nintendo Switch launch title Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom has a May 12 release date and a midnight launch time in all regions. If you haven’t already pre-ordered the game, the good news is that there’s still time to take advantage of a fantastic discount deal worth £15 off the asking price.

TopCashback is currently offering new members the chance to get £15 back when shopping at video game retailers such as Argos, Very, Currys and GAME.

Exclusive to new members only, you can take advantage of the discount by clicking the link above and signing up for a free TopCashback account.

After making an account and visiting one of the aforementioned websites via TopCashback, your account will be credited with £15 when making a purchase.

Essentially, this means you can grab a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for £44.99 from GAME, instead of the £59.99 recommended retail price (prices are correct at the time of writing).

I’ve taken advantage of new member savings with TopCashback in the past, and while it can sometimes take a couple of months for the money to appear in your account, the site does eventually pay out.

The massive open-world game launches alongside a brand new Nintendo Switch OLED console, complete with gold Joy-Cons.

The Tears of the Kingdom Nintendo Switch OLED Model is currently priced at £319.99 on Amazon.

The limited edition console features the Hylian Crest from the Legend of Zelda series on the front of the dock.

That’s on top of a pair of golden Joy-Con controllers, which also feature various Zelda symbols and icons.

As a reminder, the OLED Switch features a 7-inch display capable of producing sharper, more vibrant images.

It also has a wider stand compared to the older model, as well as 64GB of storage and enhanced audio.

You can purchase the Tears of the Kingdom Nintendo Switch OLED Model from Amazon by clicking the link above.

As for the game itself, Tears of the Kingdom once again takes place in Hyrule, only this time things have changed.

In addition to new settlements and landmarks, Link can now explore the skies above Hyrule, as well as underground caves.

Link can travel to the floating islands by using his new rewind function on rocks that have fallen to the ground.

Another neat new feature is the ability to fuse items together to make new weapons. For example, Link can construct a makeshift hammer by combining a stick with a rock. Likewise, you can create a cloud of smoke by adding a puffshroom to your shield.

Link can even create his very own speedboats and aircraft using his new abilities.

According to Nintendo, the new Legend of Zelda game also features traditional dungeons.
