The actor recently shared the picture of his all-new MG Comet and has stated that he is extremely happy with the experience of this tiny electric hatchback.

Rohit Roy has shared the picture of his brand-new Comet EV on his Instagram profile. The actor has shared the picture with the caption stating, “And it’s here finally! What better way to start the new year! One day without petrol due to the truckers’ strike made me realize every house needs an EV, especially the perfectly sized MG Comet! It’s HUGE INSIDE while being easy to maneuver even on the most crowded Mumbai streets.”
The actor in his post also mentioned that the car is extremely easy to operate. He stated, “you get into the driver’s seat and she’s good to go!!” Adding on to his post, the actor revealed that he has not gotten out of it since he has taken delivery. He also thanked MG Motor for the quick delivery of his Comet EV. The actor has gone with the top-of-the-line Plush variant of this all-electric hatchback finished in the shade of Candy white.
MG Comet EV: Plush Variant
The top-spec Plush variant of the MG Comet comes loaded with features. It gets an intelligent key with sharing function, smart start tech, LED headlights and taillights, tilt-adjustable steering wheel, auto-up function for the driver’s window, reverse parking camera, and keyless lock/unlock. Additionally, this tiny EV also comes with a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, leather-wrapped steering wheel, wireless Android Auto, Apple Carplay, and connected car features along with 3 USB ports with fast charging.
As for the powertrain, the Comet EV Plush variant comes with a 17.3kWh battery that’s IP67-rated for water and dust resistance, and it offers an ARAI-certified range of 230 km on a single full charge. Additionally, MG offers a 3.3 kW onboard charger, and it takes around seven hours to fully charge the battery. The MG Comet is propelled by a single electric motor on the rear axle that produces a maximum power of 42 bhp and 110 Nm of torque.
Sunil Shetty Also Bought a Comet EV
Just a few weeks ago, the popular Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty also bought himself a brand-new MG Comet EV. The picture of Sunil Shetty posing with his brand new EV was shared by him on his Instagram. The actor has chosen the classy shade of Starry Black for his first electric vehicle. Apart from this, the Comet EV also comes available in Aurora Silver, Candy White, Candy White With Starry Black, and Apple Green With Starry Black. Presently the MG Comet EV starts at Rs 7.98 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 10.63 lakh.
