The Endeavour Ford Wants To Relaunch In India: Video Review

0 35

Rumors of Ford returning to the Indian market are growing stronger, and we have come across several hints in the last couple of weeks that support this claim. One of the first models that Ford plans to reintroduce is their flagship SUV, the Endeavour. This model is already on sale in international markets like Thailand. We have noticed several previous-generation Endeavour owners opting for conversion kits to make their SUVs resemble this model. However, here we have a video where the Endeavour that Ford intends to launch, or rather relaunch, in India has been reviewed in detail.

The video has been shared by Bunny Punia on his YouTube channel. It was recorded in Nepal, where this SUV is already on sale. The video covers the exterior, interior features, and space it offers. Starting with the exterior, the all-new Ford Endeavour comes with a completely redesigned front fascia. The front grille with a large Ford logo gives it an imposing look. The headlamp design on this Endeavour is inspired by or similar to the F-Series trucks sold in the US.

The vertically stacked projector headlamps with C-shaped LED DRLs integrated into them give the Endeavour a muscular look. Moving down, the bumper has radar placed for ADAS features. The video mentions that the SUV has grown in size; it is wider and longer than the older generation model sold in India. The design of the alloy wheels is also different, and they are 19-inch units, which complement the overall stance. The wheel arches are finished in gloss black, and the SUV comes with a side step to facilitate entry and exit.

As we move to the rear, the new design for the taillamp is revealed. Just like many modern-day cars and SUVs, there is a glass applique that runs through the width of the tailgate. The Everest branding is enclosed under the glass panel. There is no LED bar light connecting the taillamps; however, the LED taillamps are designed inspired by the Mustang.

Moving to the interior, the first thing one would notice in the cabin is the large touchscreen infotainment system. There are physical buttons and rotary knobs under the screen for climate control. The SUV has an all-black interior, which is expected to change when it appears in the Indian market. There is wireless phone charging, leather-wrapped seats, electrically adjustable driver and co-driver seats, a multi-function steering wheel with ADAS controls, a fully digital instrument cluster, grab handles to facilitate entry and exit, a panoramic sunroof, and more. The SUV also has several storage compartments and cupholders spread across various parts of the car.

The car offers a spacious cabin for the first and second-row passengers. The AC vents for both the second and third-row passengers are placed on the roof for a better cooling experience. The SUV also offers several charging ports. The third-row seat is only suitable for children, and even with all three rows up, there is a decent amount of space in the boot of the Endeavour. It remains to be seen if Ford reintroduces the Endeavour in India, will we get all these features or would we miss out on something. The Ford Endeavour seen here is powered by a 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel engine, which generates around 206 PS and 500 Nm of peak torque.
