0 46

The Mahindra Scorpio N has been in the market for over a year, and we have seen several examples of modified Scorpio N SUVs from different parts of the country by now. Just like other Mahindra products, the Scorpio N also became popular among buyers almost immediately. The SUV still has a long waiting period for several reasons. The Scorpio has always been a very popular name among SUV enthusiasts, and the new Scorpio N is no different. Here, we have a video of a modified Scorpio N that the owner claims is the only one in India. This SUV has modifications worth Rs. 10 lakh.

The video has been uploaded by Harsh NCR on their YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger speaks to the owner of a Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 L SUV. The owner bought the SUV almost a year ago but, for some reason, the vehicle doesn’t have a registration number. The car is finished in the Deep Forest shade, which looks good on the SUV. The owner of this SUV has opted for several aftermarket customizations. He starts with the front.

The SUV has the stock front grille; however, the trims on the grille have been hydro-dipped to achieve a carbon fiber look. He has also installed bumper protectors on the front bumper. Other than this, everything else on this SUV remains stock at the front. Coming to the side profile, you notice a major difference. The 18-inch stock alloy wheels on the SUV have been replaced with aftermarket alloy wheels. The size of the wheel is what would grab your attention. The owner has installed 26-inch alloy wheels, and they look too big on the SUV.

The owner mentions that he got the alloy wheels imported from Thailand, and they actually cost him around Rs. 4.5 lakh for a set of four wheels. He does not mention whether the cost of the tires was included in this or not. Other than this, he also got the suspension setup upgraded. The owner claims that he has installed a suspension setup that is used in GLS. He doesn’t share much information related to the same here.

The large wheels definitely affect the overall movement of the vehicle. They also rub against the wheel arch at higher speeds and uneven grounds. The owner mentions that he has slightly cut the inner wheel arch to make room for the bigger wheels. He also mentions that the ride quality of the SUV is not affected, which is quite hard to believe. Bigger wheels like these will definitely have an effect on the overall performance and handling of the car as the vehicle is not designed from the factory for this.

Other than this, the SUV remains stock from the outside. The vlogger then gets in and talks about the changes here. The owner has kept the interiors stock as he had bought the top-end Z8 L version without 4×4. He has, however, upgraded the audio system in this SUV. The owner refuses to give complete information about the build; however, he mentions that most components in this SUV are from the Nakamichi brand and it cost him over 3.5 lakh. In total, the owner has spent around Rs. 10 to 10.5 lakh just on the modifications. The owner claims this is the only Scorpio N in the country with such modifications. The owner plans to make more changes to the vehicle in the future. Is this the best-looking Scorpio N? We don’t think so. Is it different? Definitely, yes.
