Warning: Major potential spoilers for The Marvels to follow.

With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 beginning to wrap up its theatrical run, all eyes are on The Marvels – the final Marvel Cinematic Universe film of 2023 – to help course-correct the franchise after that rocky start courtesy of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. With the infinitely charismatic trio of Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, and Iman Vellani amongst its arsenal, we reckon we’re in for a strong finish this year.

This is especially true if recent rumors surrounding the post-credits scene turn out to be accurate, because if so, we could be in for a long-awaited team-up that will have many a Marvel fan quaking in their boots with excitement.

In a protected tweet, reliable MCU leaker @CanWeGetSomeToast offered up the alleged play-by-play of The Marvels‘ post-credits scene, which entails Kamala Khan finding a tablet owned by Nick Fury that lists all the currently active Avengers, and using it to track down one Kate Bishop, the protégé of Hawkeye who made her first appearance in the miniseries Hawkeye. She then asks Bishop if she knew that Scott Lang (aka Ant-Man) had a daughter, and insists that they all need to team up.

Those with a well-trained Marvel nose can spot this as a Young Avengers nod right away, and while we won’t know for sure if this fateful meetup will happen until The Marvels actually drops into theaters, the mere thought of the team coming into play is nothing short of thrilling. And, if we may say so ourselves, Kamala being the one to get the team together tracks about as well as any major MCU plot beat could.

The Marvels is due in theaters on Nov. 10.
