The Snowfall Protocol Challenges Aptos And Chain To The Top! Here’s Who We Think Will Emerge As Leader Of The Pack

0 39

The entry of a new project always raises eyebrows, but this one is really turning heads!

The Snowfall Protocol (SNW) has not even been around for an entire quarter yet, but has already posed a considerable challenge for existing projects like Aptos (APT) and Chain (CHN).

Here’s what each project has to offer, with our take on the winning one.

What is Aptos (APT)

Aptos (APT) is a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchain that uses Move, a Rust-based smart contract programming language independently developed by Diem blockchain engineers at Meta. The Move language facilitates additional safeguards for contract invariants, allowing developers to protect their software from malicious entities.

Aptos (APT) has also achieved low latency and high throughput by leveraging a pipelined and modular approach for the fundamental phases of transaction processing. Through parallel execution, Aptos (APT) can attain a theoretical transaction throughput of more than 150,000 transactions per second (tps).

The modular architecture design and embedded on-chain change management protocols on the Aptos blockchain optimize for rapid deployment of new technology innovations and regular instant upgrades.

The Aptos blockchain is supported by its native currency, APT, which has an initial total supply of 1 billion APT and a circulating supply of 130,000,000 APT at the time of writing.

What is Chain (XCN)

Chain (XCN) is designed as a cloud blockchain infrastructure that allows organizations to create better financial services from scratch. Chain has launched a permissioned, open-source blockchain called Chain Core, and a ledger-as-a-service product called Sequence. With Chain Core, institutions can create and operate a blockchain network or connect to other networks, transforming the movement of assets worldwide.

The Chain Core is engineered to deliver high performance for modern financial systems. The time to create, sign, and validate transactions through the Chain protocol is measured in milliseconds.

XCN is the native token of the Chain protocol. XCN holders can avail of discounts, use XCN to pay for commercial fees, participate in community protocol governance, and access premium features.

What is Snowfall Protocol (SNW)

Snowfall Protocol (SNW)  is a multi-chain interoperability protocol that facilitates secure asset transfers and cross-chain transactions between blockchains. It is the only protocol designed for the safe and easy transfer of fungible and non-fungible tokens.

Through the Snowfall Protocol dApp, users can swap assets across EVM and non-EVM compatible chains.

Snowfall Protocol (SNW)  aims to help everyone participate easily and securely in the crypto and DeFi ecosystem.

SNW is the governance token of the Snowfall Protocol (SNW)  It allows users to vote on future improvement proposals for the Snowfall DAO. SNW also functions as a utility token of the Snowfall Protocol, offering users access to weekly or monthly raffles and fee discounts on Snowfall bridges.

Does Snowfall Protocol (SNW) have the potential to outdo Aptos (APT) and CHAIN (XCN)?

The Aptos mainnet was launched on 18th October 2022. By 23rd October 2022, APT had already hit its all-time high price of $10.25. Less than a month later, on 18th November 2022, the APT price stands at just $4.79!

This price decline may indicate that APT token buyers are losing their initial interest and excitement towards the Aptos blockchain’s offerings.

The Chain protocol was established in 2014. The protocol’s native token, XCN, hit its all-time price of $0.1841 on 17th May 2022. However, the XCN price has been dropping steadily and is only $0.050247 as of 18th November 2022.

In contrast, the Snowfall Protocol’s SNW token seems to be doing quite well!

SNW tokens were available at $0.005 per coin at the start of the first presale stage but quickly increased to $0.009 and eventually $0.045.

SNW entered its second presale stage on 2nd November 2022, and has since been selling at $0.045 per token. Unlike the declining price of APT and XCN, the SNW token price is predicted to keep growing through the third (last) stage, too. Based on investor sentiment and expert analyses, the SNW price is expected to reach as high as $0.075 by the end of SNW’s last presale stage.

Judging by the numbers alone, it’s safe to say that the Snowfall Protocol (SNW) stands a solid chance of being a greater success than Aptos (APT) and the Chain protocol (XCN).
