The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 concept video and images have appeared online. This concept comes from Technizo Concept, and they’re based on the leaks we’ve seen thus far. This design seems to rely heavily on CAD-based renders that surfaced a while back.

This Galaxy Z Fold 4 concept shows us a realistic, and probable design of the device

That basically means that this concept video and images are probably showing a realistic representation of the device. This is what the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will look like, for the most part.

You can check out the video itself below the article, as it’s embedded down there. Below it, you’ll find a gallery with the belonging images.

Now, you’ll notice that this handset has a more boxy design than the Galaxy Z Fold 3. Its sides are flatter, while there’s also a change on the back. Its cameras are protruding directly from the backplate, there’s no dedicated camera island here.

This approach has been inspired by the Galaxy S22 series. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 will also offer wider displays than its predecessor, though not by much. A side-facing fingerprint scanner is located on the right-hand side, along with the volume up and down buttons.

The S Pen stylus is also shown here. It is worth noting that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will not offer an S Pen silo. You won’t be able to tuck away this stylus inside the device, unfortunately.

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 probably won’t fuel the Galaxy Z Fold 4

You’ll also notice that the designer suggests that the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will be used inside the Galaxy Z Fold 4. That’s what many people think, but it likely won’t be the case. Samsung will likely use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 instead.

Samsung was missing from Qualcomm’s list of Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 partners. That more or less suggests that the company has no intention of using the newly-announced Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Samsung will likely stick to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is also said to have a smaller hinge, and a different one at that. Its display crease is expected to be less pronounced as well, though it’ll still be visible.

Samsung will likely announce this handset in August, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 4.
