0 77

Maruti Brezza is one of the most popular SUV in its segment. Launch of 2022 version of the Maruti Brezza is right around the corner and it is expected to offer a lot more in terms of features when compared to the current model. The current version of Maruti Brezza is a popular SUV in its segment and has been ruling the sub-4 meter segment for years now. There are several aftermarket accessories available for Maruti Brezza and there are many tastefully modified examples of Maruti Brezza from different parts of the country. Here we have one such modified Maruti Brezza SUV that actually wants to be a Range Rover Evoque.

The video has been shared by Car Care Tips on their YouTube channel. From the video, it is clear that the car is registered in Kerala. The owner of this Maruti Brezza has completely transformed the Brezza in to a Range Rover Evoque like SUV. In fact the work done on this SUV looks very neat and at least this would have fooled some people on the road. The modifications done on the SUV are all cosmetic. Starting with the front, the stock grille, headlamps and bumper have been removed from the Brezza. This has been replaced with Range Rover Evoque grille, headlamps, front bumper and the silver skid plate.

The Evoque bumper fits perfectly on the Brezza. Video does not mention whether any changes had to be made to get the new bumper fit to Brezza properly. The bumper gets turn indicators installed in them and a parking sensor is also visible at the front. It is not clear whether the front parking sensor is a dummy unit or it actually works. It looks like the bonnet on this Maruti Brezza was also replaced. The fenders were also replaced with a unit similar to what we have seen on a Range Rover Evoque. The car is now finished in dual-tone. The roof and the pillars along with the ORVMs are all blacked out and this again helps in achieving a much more convincing Evoque like look.

The stock alloy wheels on this Brezza were replaced with an aftermarket unit. The side profile of the car is where it gets a bit confusing. It is clear from this angle that this is a Maruti Brezza which is trying hard to be an Evoque. At the rear, the design has been revised as well. Just like the front, the original tail lamps on this Brezza have been replaced with a unit from Evoque. The tail gate has been redesigned and it now comes with a gloss black strip that runs across the boot. As we come down, the rear bumper has also been modified and it comes with Evoque like twin exhaust tip setup.

The interior on this Maruti Brezza has also seen some changes. It now gets Red inserts on dashboard, steering wheel and the seats are wrapped in Red coloured upholstery. The door panels also get a similar treatment. The engine on this SUV remains the same. It is powered by a diesel engine that was available with the SUV before BS6 emission norms came into effect. It is a 1.3 litre turbocharged unit that generates 90 Ps and 200 Nm of torque. It is said that the overall cost of this modification or conversion is around Rs 6 lakh.
