The US Department of Justice claimed that on Monday the firm seized over US$3 billion in stolen Bitcoin tokens during a previously unannounced 2021 raid on the residence of James Zhong. He pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. Allegedly, Zhong stole Bitcoin tokens from the illegal Silk Road marketplace, a dark web forum that sells drugs and other illicit products through cryptocurrencies.

Renault and Google have deepened their partnership in a contract to extend capabilities on remote software updates to new models such as the electric Megane E-Tech and Austral. Currently, almost all car manufacturers are scrambling to catch upto the efficiency and advancement that Tesla is offering. The extension in this partnership will enable Renault to offer more over-the-air software updates as well as additional on-demand services.
