Toyota Fortuner converter into Legender with Lexus body kit

Owners are reluctant to sell their old-generation Fortuners due to these benefits and have now resorted to conversions to make their old SUVs look brand new. Recently, a video showcasing the transformation of a Type 3 Fortuner into a Legender with a Lexus body kit has been shared online.

The video, featuring the conversion of a Type 3 Fortuner into a Legender with a special paint job and fully custom interior, has been uploaded on Autorounders’ YouTube channel. The video begins with the shop owner introducing the SUV and mentioning that this Fortuner project is their most unique one to date. He explains that the car will receive Legender headlights and an exclusive Lexus body kit. The kit will include an all-new front bumper, a massive Lexus front grille, and a rear bumper.

Following the introduction, the video shows the car undergoing the bodywork stage, during which the technicians remove all dents and undulations from the vehicle’s body. In the same stage, they also test-fit the new body kit. The car then proceeds to the putty stage, where a layer of automotive putty is applied to the SUV and sanded smooth, preparing it for primer and paint. Moving on, the car enters the paint booth and receives a unique shade of Santorini Black, an official color of the Land Rover Defender.

After leaving the paint booth, the car is showcased in its fully finished state. The presenter of the video provides a complete walkaround of the SUV, highlighting the changes made to create this distinct Fortuner. Starting at the front, he showcases the new headlights and body kit. Moving to the side, he mentions that the stock alloy wheels have been painted in high gloss black to match the menacing sporty look. Furthermore, he reveals that the taillights have been replaced with Lexus-inspired full LED lights, and the rear bumper has also been changed.

Next, he unveils the highly customized interior of the Fortuner. The presenter explains that they have fully customized the interior in a pure white and dark tan color scheme. To add a touch of uniqueness, they have incorporated brown carbon fiber on various small elements of the interior.
