Currently, the Toyota Hyrider, which was launched last year, has been witnessing a massive demand from customers, putting the vehicle on a long waiting period list.

It has been reported the CNG model is witnessing a high demand from customers, resulting in pushing the waiting period up to 16 months or even more. However, the hybrid models can be delivered early compared to CNG ones. It has a max waiting period of up to six to 7 months, depending upon the availability. Even, that too is not promised.

Under the hood, the midsize SUV is powered by three engine options – a 1.5-litre, a 1.5-litre K15C and a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. The former one generates a max power of  114bhp and 122Nm of torque and is mated with CVT gearbox.

The company claims hybrid models are capable of providing a decent mileage of 27.97 km/l.
