The IMV 0 platform, upon which both vehicles are built, has a rich history, forming the foundation for iconic models like the Hilux, Fortuner, and Innova.
While the Hilux Champ boasts a single-cab layout and customizable options, the forthcoming SUV will retain the boxy, retro aesthetic with the addition of premium features. Sharing the 2,750mm wheelbase with the Innova Crysta and Fortuner, the new SUV is expected to offer both two- and three-row seating configurations, catering to diverse consumer needs.
The interior design will borrow the Hilux Champ’s functional layout while incorporating significant upgrades. This includes the use of higher-quality materials, a larger touchscreen infotainment system, and an array of advanced technological features.
