South Florida’s Trapland Pat taps Rick Ross for the remix of his 2021 viral hit “Big Business.”
The new rendition arrives with a Jolo-shot music video that sees the rappers link up in Miami’s Little Haiti neighborhood.
“You don’t know what I’ve been through/Taking chances for advances when the rent due/All them goddamn odds stacked against you/But the plug showing love off the strength too,” Pat raps on his opening verse.
“Big Business (Remix)” catches Trapland Pat fresh off the release of his full-length offering Trapnificent, which dropped in June and serves as the follow-up to the 23-year-old Broward County artist’s 2021 album Thru Da Door.
In a recent interview with the Miami New Times, Pat expressed his desire to exude honesty in his music.
“When you really believe in what you saying, you go in there, and you gon’ say it the right way,” he explained. “When I go in there, and I’m not saying the truth, cuh, it just doesn’t sit right with me when I go home and I sleep.”
