UK broadband users must act today to avoid being hit by bigger bills

0 43

With energy bills about to soar and interest rates expected to rise sharply over the coming months, everyone is trying to stay on top of their outgoings. Although most of these hikes are out of our control there is currently one way to make sure your broadband bill doesn’t get any more expensive with Sky currently offering a very unusual deal.

Unlike most suppliers, such as BT and Virgin Media who will be hiking prices in the coming months, Sky is offering deals that will be frozen until 2024.

That means the price you pay now won’t change and that’s important there will be significant savings to be made.

For example, earlier this year BT raised costs by almost 10 per cent and Virgin Media added over £4 per month to some household bills. Similar rises are expected next spring but that won’t be the case for anyone signing up for Sky broadband.

It’s a tempting deal but those wanting to take advantage will need to act fast with Sky confirming on its website that the offer ends today September 29.

There are a number of price freeze options available from Sky with prices starting from £25 per month for basic 36Mbps speeds.

There are also 145Mbps downloads for £32 per month and Ultrafast 900Mbps broadband for £52.

If any of this sounds enticing, here are all the deals available with a price freeze for 18 months.
