UP Police fines Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Santro & Royal Enfield ownera for performing stunts on public road [Video]
Performing stunts on public roads is completely illegal there are multiple reasons why it should not be promoted or is not a great idea to do such things on road. We have explained about it in the past but, it seems like people don’t learn at all. We have come across several incidents from Uttar Pradesh and the recent one is no different. A video has now surfaced online where youngsters in two cars and a bike are seen performing stunts on public road. The video has gone viral and cops have taken action against the offenders too.

The videos and images have been shared by a Twitter user and in this post, we can see a couple of cars and a biker on a public road performing stunts. We have now started seeing a trend among youngsters where they are seen sitting out of the window of the moving car. This is extremely dangerous and the person who posted the video also mentioned the location where the stunt was being performed. This incident happened in Uttar Pradesh’s Greater Noida region. In this video, youngsters can be seen hanging out of the window of the Maruti Brezza and a Hyundai Santro hatchback.

There is a Royal Enfield Bullet in the video with three youngsters on it. It looks like the video was taken as part of Holi festival celebration. The video was recorded for social media purposes. None of them sitting on the motorcycle were wearing proper riding gear and the person sitting at the rear was standing on the motorcycle while it was on motion. After the video went viral, the local police of the area looked into the matter and they soon identified the vehicles too.

The cops issued an e-challan on all the vehicles that were used for the stunt. The Maruti Brezza SUV was issued a fine of Rs 25,500. The cops have fined the car under multiple offences. The Hyundai Santro seen in the video got a fine of Rs 23,500. The Royal Enfield Bullet in the video got a challan of Rs 19,000. It is not clear whether the authorities have seized the vehicle for performing stunts or not.
Performing stunts on public roads is an offence. Public roads are meant for transportation and not stunts. It should be noted that you are not the only person using the road. There are other people who use the same road. By performing stunts on public road, you are not only putting your own life at risk but also the life of others. In this case, the stunt did not lead to an accident but, not everyone would be as lucky as them. This behaviour should not be encouraged at all.
Recently we came across an incident from Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad where youngsters were performing stunts with fireworks on a moving car. They were doing the stunt on public road and it is not clear whether the cops have identified the vehicles yet or not. Similarly, a social media influencer recording a video while sitting on the bonnet of a moving car was also fined Rs 70,000.
