Upcoming Moto G52j 5G specifications revealed through Geekbench listing

The Moto G52 4G version comes with a 90Hz pOLED display, Snapdragon 680 chipset, up to 6GB RAM, a 16MP front snapper and a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.

The new Moto G52j 5G smartphone will most noticeably ditch the Snapdragon 680 SoC in favour of the Snapdragon 695 chipset to enable 5G connectivity. The device with the motherboard ID ‘cypfr’ runs the 5G capable octa-core SoC at a base clock of 1.8GHz and is paired to 6GB of RAM. The performance cores are rated at 2.21GHz and the CPU is paired to the Adreno 619 GPU. The device which runs on Android 11 posted a single-core score of 663 points while the multi-core score stood at 1,703 points. 

The device was also spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance website where the listing divulged the device’s dual-band Wi-Fi capabilities. The Moto G52j 5G will support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands. The listing also showed a model XT2219-1 assigned to the upcoming smartphone. The Moto G52j 5G was also spotted on the Camera FV5 website which revealed the smartphone will come with a 50MP (f/1.8) main camera sensor. The device will then use pixel binning to bring the image down to 12.5MP.
