These latest spy shots of the upcoming Mahindra XUV400 have been shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Bunny Punia. First off, we can note that the overall silhouette of the XUV400 facelift will remain exactly the same as the outgoing model. However, eagle-eyed viewers can note two squarish bulges on the right front and rear doors. Most likely, they are present just for presentation purposes, and there will be no significant changes to the actual door panels.

Apart from these, what we can note that will be definitely new are the alloy wheels. The test mule was seen being fitted with thick five-spoke alloy wheels with camouflage. Most likely, these will be of the same 16-inch diameter as the outgoing model. Another new detail that we can note is that the cladding on this upcoming model will be a little thicker than the current model. While the rest of the side profile looks pretty much identical to the outgoing XUV400.

Talking about the biggest highlights of the upcoming Mahindra XUV400, the spy shots show that it will come equipped with ADAS. From the pictures, we can note that there is a covering on top of the middle of the roof at the front. Most likely, this is an ADAS sensor. If the company does offer this model with ADAS, it will become the only EV sub-compact SUV in the country to come equipped with this safety and convenience feature.

As of yet, the pictures of the interior of the new XUV400 facelift have not surfaced online. However, judging by the pictures of the XUV300s facelift on which it is based, it could get a brand new layout on the inside. Meanwhile, for the powertrain side of things, not much is expected to be changed underneath. It will most likely come equipped with a front-mounted electric motor that generates 150 PS of maximum power and 310 Nm of maximum torque. It is also likely to continue offering the EC variant with a 34.5 kWh battery claiming 375 km of range, in addition to the EL variant that comes with a 39.4 kWh battery pack that claims to deliver 456 km of maximum range.
