Video Shows CeeLo Green Falling Off Horse While Entering Shawty Lo’s Bday

0 41

CeeLo Green’s grand entrance backfired.

The “Crazy” singer arrived at Shawty Lo’s birthday party in style on Wednesday, riding atop a horse that was being led by two handlers. Immediately, the horse seems agitated around the big crowd and strobe lights. While the animal’s handlers tried to calm the horse down, it didn’t seem to work; the horse slipped on the ground and CeeLo fell off. He rolled on the floor and stood up, while people steadied him.

According to TMZ, CeeLo wasn’t hurt and enjoyed the birthday party, which was held at The Bank in Atlanta. The celebration honored Shawty Lo, who would have turned 47 this year. He tragically died in a car crash in 2016, killed by blunt force trauma to the head after his car went over a guardrail, collided with some trees, and caught on fire. At the time, TMZ reported that he had painkillers on him and smelled like alcohol at his time of death. Back in November, Gucci Mane memorialized Shawty Lo in his tribute to Takeoff, titled, “Letter to Takeoff.”

CeeLo hasn’t released too much music as of late, though last year, he hopped on the soundtrack for the Elvis biopic, appearing on the song “The King and I” alongside Eminem. The project was a star-studded offering, with features from Doja Cat, Jazmine Sullivan, Kacey Musgraves, Stevie Nicks, Swae Lee, Diplo, Tame Impala, and more.
