Vivo X100 series global launch to take place this week

The brand has published a pre-heat page on its global website confirming that the Vivo X100 and X100 pro will debut on December 14th. 91mobiles also spotted the same page on the Taiwanese website, indicating that the device will first go on sale in Taiwan.

The webpage also confirmed that the phones will feature the same specifications as their Chinese variants and come with MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. The series will be the first devices to make their global debut with the chipset while Vivo’s sub-brand, iQOO, was the first to bring Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 to the global markets.

Vivo X100 Pro+ China launch postponed

Digital Chat Station, a reliable tipster on the Chinese social media site Weibo, has stated (via Gizmochina) that the Vivo X100 Pro+ launch has been postponed. Vivo’s launch lineup for early 2024 will consist of another Vivo X100 series device with a flat-screen, Vivo X Fold3 featuring Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Dimensity 9300-laden Vivo Pad 3.

Vivo is certainly on a fast pace this year as the brand is becoming the first to bring flagship chipsets to global markets. An India launch for the Vivo X100 series is yet to be confirmed but a BIS certification does indicate that both the devices will make it to the country soon. Vivo X90 and X90 Pro were also launched in the country with a slight delay, but the Pro+ model never made it out of China.
