Vivo Y27 5G specifications and design leaked ahead of launch

Following the Vivo Y27 4G specifications and design reveal, the phone’s 5G counterpart’s hardware and renders have now surfaced online, courtesy of tipster Paras Guglani. This also reveals the colour options of the Vivo Y27 5G.

The handset shares an almost familiar design, with a waterdrop notch and two sizeable circular camera modules on the back. The MediaTek Helio G85 SoC will be replaced with the Dimensity 6050 SoC and this enables 5G support.

The Vivo Y27 5G has a similar design to the Vivo Y27 4G, as per the leak.

  • The Vivo Y27 5G has a waterdrop notch for the selfie shooter and there’s a sizeable chin below the screen panel.
  • The Vivo phone has a rounded boxy chassis.
  • The volume rocker and power button with a fingerprint sensor embedded are on the right spine.
  • There are two large circular rings on the back to house dual camera sensors and an LED flash beside the circular rings.
  • The phone can be seen in Obsidian Black and Star Purple colours.

Vivo Y27 5G specifications

  • Display: The phone will sport a 6.64-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display with 600-nits peak brightness.
  • Processor: The Vivo Y27 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6050 SoC.
  • RAM and Storage: The phone will come with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. There will be support for extendable RAM.
  • OS: Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 custom skin out of the box.
  • Cameras: The Vivo Y27 5G will have a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. There is an 8MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.
  • Others: The Vivo Y27 5G will have an IP54 rating.
  • Battery: The Vivo phone will have a 5,000mAh battery and 44W fast charging support.

The Vivo Y27 5G’s launch timeline hasn’t been revealed but our exclusive report recently claimed the 4G version will debut in the country later this month.
