After ruling the market with fuel-powered vehicles, the leading car manufacturer Volkswagen now has entered in EV segment with its first hatchback ID 3 GTX. As per the shared details, the battery-powered four-wheeler has been offered in two trims- GTX and GTX Performance, unleashing impressive performance in the segment.

Talking about the ID3 GTX, the EV features the company’s latest APP550 electric motor at the back axle, allowing it to generate a max power of 281 bhp with an impressive 545Nm of peak torque.

All About ID 3 GTX Performance

When it comes to the top model ID 3 GTX Performance, as the name suggests, it has been created to deliver more power compared to the standard version. It produces a maximum output of 321 bhp, and is capable of doing a 0-100kph sprint in just 5.6sec.

Speed and Battety

Both variants are treated with a top speed of 178km/h and 200km/h, respectively. At the battery front, they are equipped with 79kWh lithium-ion battery setup, which comes with DC fast charging at 175kW option on board. It has been informed that the EV takes around 26 minutes to reach 0 percent charging level to 100 percent, and offers offer a decent range of up to 600km.
