On Feb. 6, the airport officially opens its new West Security Checkpoint, which comes after nearly six years of construction. A second new security checkpoint is expected to open in late 2025.

But with largescale growth comes occasional hiccups. This week, the airport has been experiencing “technical issues” with the trains that take people from the terminal to the concourses. Meanwhile, new airlines and new nonstop European flights have been announced.
