Where You’ve Seen The Cast Of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Before
We’re not 100% certain about this one, so don’t get mad at us if it turns out he’s somebody else, but it looks like onetime “Arrow” actor Josh Segarra plays Augustus “Pug” Pugliese in “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.” In the comics, Pug is a GLK&H lawyer and close friend of Jennifer Walters; the show’s official trailer cuts to a quick shot of Segarra during Jennifer’s voiceover about her “great friends.” Segarra confirmed that he had joined the “She-Hulk” cast back in December 2021 when he posted a snap of the series’ title on Instagram, writing that he “can’t wait” alongside it.
While this is Segarra’s first Marvel role, DC fans will recognize the Florida-born star from his role in the foundational series of DC’s Arrowverse. Segarra played the villain Adrian Chase, aka Prometheus, who plagues Stephen Amell’s Oliver Queen in “Arrow” Season 5. Even with multiple roles in big superhero franchises, Segarra hasn’t been typecast; he’s got a varied and well-rounded filmography. You might remember him as Justin Voight, the son of Jason Beghe’s character Hank Voight on “Chicago P.D.”
Segarra has also had a couple of other prominent recurring roles where you might have spotted him before. He played Stefanovic in Season 6 and 7 of “Orange is the New Black,” and later played NYPD officer Matteo Lopez in the short-lived “Riverdale” spinoff “Katy Keene” in 2020. Earlier the same year, Segarra played RuPaul’s love interest in “AJ and the Queen.” Speaking to Gay Times after the series premiered, Segarra admitted, “I was nervous to kiss RuPaul — that’s Mama Ru right there! I wanted to be respectful, but I also wanted to impress him.”
