Her resignation is effective January 31, the company said in a stock exchange filing.

A Wipro spokesperson said Trautman’s last working day is December 31 and that she will be relieved from the service after a month of ‘gardening leave’.

In her resignation letter that the company attached with the filing, Trautman said she was “eager to pursue my personal and professional goats outside of Wipro”.

The growth office was established three years ago by Wipro’s then new chief executive Thierry Delaporte, to strategise the IT company’s approach to large deals, account development, partnerships and sales processes, as well as develop a blueprint for building strategic solutions for clients.

Over the past few months, Wipro started integrating the strategic pursuits team, formerly under the chief growth officer, into Strategic Market Units (SMUs). The remaining functions of the growth organisation will be overseen directly by Delaporte, Wipro said in the statement.

“Embedding this function within the SMUs allows us to build on the processes and approaches developed by the CGO and bring this experienced team closer to clients and on-the-ground sales teams. This integrated approach will help us uncover new growth opportunities, enhance our speed to market as well as success rate in deal wins,” it added.Trautman’s exit comes just days after the last working day of Jatin Dalal, the former chief financial officer who announced his resignation in September after a two-decade stint at Wipro. Over the past 12 months, Wipro has seen at least ten senior-level resignations including its chief operating officer Sanjeev Singh; country head Satya Easwaran; senior vice-president and head of healthcare and medical devices for the Americas Mohd Haque; and senior VP and head of manufacturing and hi-tech business unit Ashish Saxena.

Trautman was hired to lead Wipro’s relationships with hyper-growth partners, provide market intelligence through advisors and analysts, enhance brand awareness and develop sales capabilities.

Prior to joining Wipro, Trautman worked at global rival Accenture for seven years holding several leadership positions. Prior to that, she had worked as a vice president at CSC (now DXC).
