0 48

Worldwide Accelerator introduced eighteen promising technology entrepreneurs from all over the world, especially from emerging markets, to scale their startups of pre-seed and seed stages to the global markets. During the three months, WWA’s participants worked intensively towards developing and improving their projects, receiving full support from industry experts and international partners. At the demo day in Yerevan, Armenia, all teams presented a final pitch deck and shared their impressions of the program.

About the WWA:

Worldwide Accelerator is a program for pre-seed and seed stage startups, supported by the American venture capital fund NVO Capital; venture capital law firms South Gate Global and Zeppelin Partners; and Impulse management company, that works on solutions for the integrated development of cities and territories.

“For our team, It was the first experience for our team to launch an accelerator for startups from all over the world who want to get into the leading American accelerators. We aimed to accelerate the development of the projects to enter the US market. We provided expertise and mentoring support, as well as considered projects for investment. The first season of the WWA featured 20 startups from 16 countries. Now we have chosen two most investment-attractive startups and are negotiating on their behalf. Next season, we would like to attract more top experts from around the world”, – Artur Bitsargiz, WWA CEO.

The Advisory Board included Karen Gyulbudagyan (Berkley Skydeck Ambassador); Vladislav Zdorenko (Partner of the American fund NVO Capital and co-founder of the venture capital company Startech.vc); Artem Smirnov (Alchemist Accelerator mentor and NVO Capital partner); and networking experts and alumni from Y Combinator, 500 Startups, Plug’n’Play and others.

“With the assistance from the international experts, I received answers to all questions that worried me in the process: what is the assessment of our company? Am I building the process of attracting investments correctly? I also got additional validators from people who are ready to answer the question and help even outside the accelerator“, – Anna Zdorenko, founder & CEO INCYMO
