The handset is rumoured to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset and run on Android 12-based MIUI 13 custom skin out of the box. It is said to include 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options. It is also expected to pack a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi 12T Pro is also expected to sport the same 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 2712 x 1220 pixel resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 5 layer on top. However, unlike the vanilla model, the 12T Pro is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
