Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 launched globally with 144Hz display
Xiaomi announced plenty of devices for global markets during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. Those devices include the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi Watch 2, and more. The Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 is another device that joined that list, after launching in China last week.

This is the company’s new tablet that is actually quite powerful. Before we get to that, however, do note that this tablet is made out of metal (metal unibody build) and that it has flat sides. The camera island on the back is in line with the one on the Xiaomi 14 (design-wise). There are three pogo pins included on the back, by the way.
Having said that, there is a 12.4-inch 3048 x 2032 16:10 display included on the front. It has a max refresh rate of 144Hz, but that refresh rate can go down to 30Hz if needed. The touch sampling rate is 240Hz, and HDR10 content is supported. Dolby Vision is also included here. This panel also has a TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification. It has a peak brightness of 900 nits, and it’s protected by the Gorilla Glass 5.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is included, along with a large battery & 120W charging
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor fuels this tablet. That is no longer the company’s best chip, but it’s the next best thing. Xiaomi announced 8GB and 12GB RAM models, which come with 256GB and 512GB of UFS 4.0 flash storage.
A 10,000mAh battery sits inside of this tablet, and the device supports 120W wired charging. Xiaomi’s HyperOS comes pre-installed, while there are 6 speakers included here, and four microphones. Dolby Atmos support is also included.
A 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8 aperture, PDAF) is backed by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is a 32-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.2 aperture) also included on the tablet.
Its pricing starts at €699
The device measures 278.70 x 191.58 x 6.26mm, and weighs 590 grams. It comes in a single color, Graphite Gray, and the pricing starts at €699. The 12GB RAM model is priced at €799.
