The British supercar manufacturer Aston Martin launched its newest GT car, the DB12, back in September of last year in India. Now, months after its launch, the first customer DB12 has been delivered to none other than the Zomato CEO, Deepinder Goyal. This supercar, priced at Rs 4.59 crore (ex-showroom), joins Deepinder’s eclectic garage, which includes the Porsche 911 Turbo S, Ferrari Roma, Lamborghini Urus, and a few others.

As for the details of the newly launched Aston Martin DB12, it is a successor to the already popular Aston Martin DB11 GT supercar. The company states that the new DB12 is 80 percent brand new. It gets a much sharper-looking exterior, and one of the main highlights of its design is its new massive front grille.
The new DB12 also gets a set of redesigned headlamps with a three-piece DRL setup. Apart from this, the front bumper has also been updated to add to the more aggressive appearance. However, the overall design and silhouette of the DB12 look like the Aston Martin DB11.
Coming to the main highlight of the new DB12, its interior looks nothing like the DB11. It gets a brand-new layout which looks a lot more modern and sophisticated. It gets a dual-tone leather interior with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system being its main characteristic feature. The car also gets a newly designed center console which gets a number of physical buttons. It also gets a digital instrument gauge cluster as well.

As for the powertrain side of things, the DB12 comes equipped with a Mercedes-Benz-sourced engine. It gets a massive 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that makes around 680 PS and 800 Nm of torque. It comes mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Coming to its performance, the DB12 can do 0-100 kmph in a blistering 3.5 seconds. As per the company, it also comes equipped with an electronic rear differential and adaptive dampers. The major focus of the company with the new DB12 is on comfort and highway and canyon cruising.
