Nothing Phone (2): 2 specs the company has confirmed
Pei has confirmed that the Phone (2) will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. He even explained the reason to use the older SoC in place of the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

He also mentioned that the 8+ Gen 1 is better optimised with several updates. He even added that Nothing values user experience over being first in the specs race. Pei noted that cost also played an important factor in the decision-making process.

Apart from this, Pei has also confirmed that the Phone (2) will pack a 4700mAh battery. To compare, Phone (1) housed a slightly smaller 4500mAh battery unit.

Nothing Phone (1): Key specs
2022’s Nothing Phone (1) sports a 6.55-inch OLED display that supports HDR 10+ and an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone has a glyph interface that shows unique light patterns to indicate different notifications like calls, messages and even charging status. For further protection, the phone has Gorilla Glass protection on both sides and an aluminium frame.
