Teams already have built-in translation features. However, it has now received the new Live translated transcription feature that breaks the language barrier by offering real-time meeting transcripts in over 30 languages. Users can easily toggle between translated and original transcript for a better meeting experience. The feature is available for Teams Premium users.

Portrait blur
Portrait blur is another feature that makes the meeting experience better for users. It includes two dynamic background blur options — standard blur and the new portrait blur that adds a cinematic feel to the video. This, according to the company, offers a professional look with sharp focus on users and blurred background.

Collaborative notes in Teams mobile
Users now have the option to access collaborative notes on Teams mobile app. These notes are always-in-sync that allows attendees to co-create meeting agendas and action items seamlessly. The feature is powered by Loop that ensures that notes are synced with Microsoft To Do and Planner.

New channels experience
The new channel’s experience makes it easier to focus on key topics, engage with the right stakeholders, and find specific information so your team can accomplish more together. The new experience features a new conversation view in channels, a revamped compose box, a streamlined information pane, an enhanced in-channel search experience, and more.
