We’ll be taking things more slowly in the next couple of weeks
The 2022 hourglass is down to its very last grains of sand, and all of us on the TDS team would like to thank you—contributors, readers, and followers—for an exciting and energizing year.
We wanted to let you know that we’ll continue to publish new work over the next couple of weeks, but we’re also planning to take some time to relax and recharge.
As readers, that means you’ll see fewer new articles every day here on TDS, as well as a less active presence on our social accounts; we’ll briefly pause our newsletter, The Variable (the final edition of the year will come out this week). We hope you’ll take this opportunity to explore our (very) deep archive of Editor’s Picks and Deep Dives, as well as some of our most memorable posts of the year.
If you’re a current or prospective TDS author, we can’t wait to read your work! There’s a good chance you’ll have to wait longer than usual to hear back from us about recent submissions, so thanks in advance for your understanding. Another option you might consider is holding on to your drafts until the new year, when our team will be back in full force. Either way, we’ll read your articles with as much care as we always do.
