Bajaj Chetak and Hero Vida V1 prices up: Here’s how much they cost

Bajaj has upped the prices on its Bajaj Chetak premium electric scooter by Rs 22,000. The EV now wears a Rs 1.44 lakh (ex-showroom) price tag. Hero MotoCorp on the other hand has increased prices on its Hero Vida V1 Pro electric scooter by Rs 6,000 and the scooter now carries a price tag of Rs 1.46 lakh (ex-showroom). The Vida V1 Pro can be had for Rs 1.26 lakh (ex-showroom) in cities with higher state-wise subsidies such as Delhi, Ahmedabad, Surat and Vadodara. 

TVS will also announce its refreshed prices soon as the company’s Senior VP, Manu Saxena, had earlier commented. The current pricing on the TVS iQube ranges between Rs 1.06 lakh to Rs 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi, after subsidy). 

Hero Vida V1 specifications

  • Dimensions: 1630 x 670 x 740mm 
  • Electric motor: A 6kW PMSM motor with an integrated gearbox and controller.
  • Battery pack: A 3.44kWh battery in the Vida V1 Plus and a 3.94kWh battery in the Vida V1 Pro. Removable batteries. 
  • Range: The Vida V1 Plus gets 143km of range while the Vida V1 Pro gets 165km of range. 
  • Charging: Charges up at home in up to 5 hours 55 minutes. 
  • Performance: 80kmph top speed and zero to 40kmph in under 3.4 seconds.
  • Suspension: Telescopic front suspension and spring coil rear suspension.
  • Wheels and Tyres: 12-inch alloy wheels front and rear
  • Brakes: Disc brakes
  • Colour: White, Red and Orange (only on Vida V1 Pro)
