The C.K. Birla Group has partnered with Microsoft to establish a Generative AI Centre of Excellence. This collaborative effort aims to expedite value creation and encourage innovation in the implementation of Generative AI, in order to provide advanced enterprise solutions across various industries.

Birlasoft and Microsoft are partnering to establish the Generative AI Centre of Excellence. This initiative combines Birlasoft’s industry expertise with Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service to create a hub for research, training, and collaboration. The goal is to help organisations fully utilise Generative AI and develop customised solutions for complex business problems. Experts from both companies will work together to empower businesses to unlock the potential of this technology.

Generative AI technology is constantly evolving and providing ample opportunities for diverse industries. Birlasoft will concentrate on specific use cases across multiple sectors.

For the Manufacturing industry, the company will utilise Azure OpenAI Service capabilities to enhance product design, optimise processes, detect defects and ensure quality, and predict maintenance issues. Additionally, digital twins will be created to test and simulate products.

In the Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical field, Birlasoft will use generative AI solutions to facilitate drug discovery, design, and augment data.For the Energy and Utilities sector, the company will leverage Generative AI to improve field service engagements and boost operational efficiency.Lastly, in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance domain, the focus areas for Generative AI will be automating claims handling, summarising financial reports, and enhancing search capabilities.

Birlasoft aims to train 500 consultants on generative AI technologies, principles, and best practices. They will also collaborate on building more than 50 use cases for value creation across various verticals and sub-verticals served by Birlasoft. This partnership is a significant move towards delivering innovative solutions and driving organisations towards success in a constantly evolving business environment.
