If you’re a big Pokemon Go fan looking to bolster your Pokedex, then today’s Community Day is the perfect opportunity. The final Community Day event of 2022 takes place from 2-5pm GMT on December 18. As part of the event, Pokemon Go developer Niantic will bring back all of the featured Pocket Monsters from the previous year. This includes Teddiursa, Zigzagoon, Starly, Roggenrola, Litwick and Deino.

Not only will the aforementioned Pokemon appear more frequently, but players will also be able to capture Shiny versions of the Pocket Monsters.

Classic Pokemon like Bulbasaur, Dratini and Mudkip will also show up in greater numbers for the duration of the event.

Needless to say, other bonuses are also available for the entire Community Day event.

Participating players will receive double XP for catching Pokemon, as well as double Stardust.

Egg distances will be cut in half, meaning eggs will hatch much quicker than before. This applies to eggs placed into Incubators during the event period.

Elsewhere, Niantic has confirmed that users will receive double Candy for catching Pokemon.

It’s even better news for level 31 Trainers, who have a much better chance of receiving XL Candy from catching Pokemon.

As with all Community Day events, Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours, along with all Incense.

One additional Special Trade can also be made during the event, while trades require 50% less Stardust.

If you really want to make a day of it, you can purchase an exclusive Research story from the in-game shop.
