ChatGPT is currently going through a major outage for several users across the globe. Users have reported about the outage across social media platforms and Downdetector, the website that keeps track of outages for websites and services online, has also reported that the ChatGPT is currently down.

According to the report, around 87% users have reported that they are facing issues when accessing ChatGPT.

For those unaware, ChatGPT was down yesterday and it came back online after the outage. OpenAI also acknowledged the outage and also confirmed that the issue has been resolved. However, it appears that the ChatGPT has once again hit the obstacle and users are once again unable to access the service.

The reason behind the outage is unknown and Open AI has also now acknowledged this outage as of now.

However, yesterday, Open AI provided the reason behind the outage, and we expect that the current outage is a part of it.

“We’ve identified an issue resulting in high error rates across the API and ChatGPT, and we are working on remediation,” the company said. OpenAI then implemented a fix and the service gradually recovered.

Now, this is not the first time we have witnessed a major ChatGPT outage. Back in September, the ChatGPT went through a major outage and in August too there was a partial outage on the platform.
