Cult of the Lamb to get a major free update in 2024

Devolver Digital launched the rogue-like action-adventure game, Cult of the Lamb game which is developed by Massive Monster in August 2022. The title is set to receive a much-anticipated new content in 2024. The company took to social media platform X to announce the “Sins of the Flesh” update on the game’s official page. The developer said that the update will ill be free and “packed with new features, stories, and more.”
Cult of the Lamb update: Availability
As per the X post, the update will be available “very early next year.” The post also teased that more information in the weeks are expected to be revealed. The X post also includes a poster that shows a lamb cult dancing around a fire. The game also posted another zoomed in crop of the poster which shows two characters laying on the ground, embracing, and tweeted, “This could be us.”
In April, Cult of the Lamb got some new DLC. The game also announced a crossover with Don’t Starve Together over the summer. The game is available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and PC.

Cult of the Lamb: Gameplay
In Cult of the Lamb players have to play the role of a possessed lamb saved from annihilation by an ominous stranger. Now, the lamb must repay their debt by building a loyal following in his name. Players have to start their own cult in a land of false prophets and has to venture out into diverse and mysterious regions to build a loyal community of woodland Followers and spread their Word to become the one true cult.

Players need to collect and use resources to build new structures, perform dark rituals to appease the gods, and give sermons to reinforce the faith of their flock. They also need to explore a sprawling, randomly generated world and fight off enemies and defeat rival cult leaders to absorb their power and assert their cult’s dominance.
