Destiny 2’s Mass Effect Crossover Brings Some Stylish N7 Fashion To The Game

0 26

Destiny 2 is getting a bunch of new content starting this week, and for fans of BioWare’s space-opera Mass Effect, you can look forward to some stylish new armor sets direct from that game universe next month. Available in Destiny 2’s Eververse store starting February 13, there’ll be a Commander Shepard-inspired N7 armor set for Titans, a Garrus-inspired Vakarian set for Hunters, and a Liara-inspired Shadow Broker set for Warlocks.

Commander Shepard-approved gear, coming soon to Destiny 2.

All players can claim the Alliance Requisitions Bundle for free, adding an Enhanced Defense Ghost Shell, Alliance Scout Frigate ship, and the Alliance Drop Ship Sparrow to their collection. This isn’t the first time that Destiny has crossed paths with other video games, as there have been Assassin’s Creed and Witcher crossovers in the past.

These are purely cosmetic pieces to change the look of your armor with, and the aesthetic of Mass Effect meshes surprisingly well with Destiny’s unique artistic direction. Like other armor sets, you will have to fork out some cash to own these, as they’re normally priced at 2,000 Silver. In real-world cash, that works out to $20 for the Destiny 2 premium currency.

In other Destiny 2 news, Season of the Wish’s story will continue with the new Riven’s Wishes weekly quests. These missions will be available to all players until March 12 and they task players with completing a pursuit each week to earn rare gear like Last Wish raid Deepsight weapons and Exotic armor pieces.

The Glimmer cap is also being greatly increased and the annual Moments of Triumph event will begin this week. This event has its own special gear to earn, as well a new set of 26 Triumphs as part of the 2023 Moments of Triumph Seal.

For a deep dive into Season of the Wish, you can also check out how Destiny 2 is ditching seasons for less “predictable” episodes and how Bungie made a literal dungeon for the Warlord’s Ruin activity.
