Eminem: “Rap God” Eminem is coming to Fortnite’s ‘The Big Bang’ event: All the details
Epic Games has confirmed that Eminem will appear in Fortnite during the live finale of Chapter 4, called The Big Bang. According to an updated page on Fortnite’s website, players can watch Eminem as himself during the event. Fortnite is calling this event a “new beginning” for the game, which potentially hints at a new island.
As per the reports, it has been revealed that Eminem will be playing a prominent role in the upcoming music-themed finale live event of Chapter 4, which will signify the start of Chapter 5.
The event is set to take place on December 2nd at 2 PM ET and will mark the end of the Fortnite OG chapter, which took the game back to its roots.
Eminem-inspired skins to also go on sale
Players will have the opportunity to purchase a few different skins modeled after the rapper.
Fortnite is set to release three new skins named Rap Boy, Slim Shady, and Marshall Never More. These skins will be available for purchase from the item shop starting on November 29 at 7 PM ET. Players who attend the event will have the opportunity to unlock The Big Bang loading screen and the Marshall Magma Style for the Marshall Never More outfit. This will give Eminem’s character glowing eyes and fiery skin.
This collaboration is similar to Travis Scott’s Fortnite performance. Back in 2020, the rap star had his “Astronomical” concert in the battle royale game. The event included live performances and in-game rewards. Travis Scott’s in-game Fortnite concert concluded with over 12.3 million players logged in to experience it. Fortnite also hosted a Marshmello concert in 2019.
